Grab your puffy shirts and your favorite close-talking friend and head to Scofflaw (3201 W. Armitage Ave. 773-252-9700) on June 4 for an ode to everyone’s favorite show about nothing.
The long-running ’90s hit, “Seinfeld,” spawned many a phrase and rules to live by, and this Logan Square spot is paying tribute to the show to bring fans young and old together for a night.
On the menu will be a big salad, courtesy of the second episode in Season 6, with “big lettuce, big carrots, tomatoes like volleyballs.” Also on offer will be black and white cookies from episode 13 in Season 5, where Jerry gives the keen advice that, “you want to get some black and some white in each bite … nothing mixes better than vanilla and chocolate.”
Muffin tops will also be available to nosh on, because, as we well know, “it’s the best part. It’s crunchy, it’s explosive, it’s where the muffin breaks free of the pan and sort of does it’s own thing.”
There’s no cover to take part in the Seinfeld celebration. Food specials will be available from 11 to 2 a.m. and no reservations are required.
