Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti announced the hiring of Mino Raiola as his new agent.

Verratti confirmed the switch publicly on his Instagram account, stating Donato Di Campli, his long-time agent, will no longer represent him, instead it will be the 49-year-old Raiola who will serve as his agent going forward.

“I hereby state with immediate effect that the sole person able to legitimately represent my sporting interests is Mino Raiola. I thank Attorney Di Campli for all the work done until today and I present him with my renewed and unchanged esteem,” wrote Verratti.

Raiola has brokered deals to move Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku from Juventus and Everton to Manchester United, respectively. He also advocated for goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma’s depature from AC Milan this summer before ultimately agreeing on a new contract.

The 24-year-old Verratti has drawn interest from Barcelona this summer. His current contract with PSG runs through the 2020-2021 season.
