The deaths of a man and a woman are under investigation after their bodies were discovered Tuesday morning in Cicero, according to a village spokesman.

The bodies of a man in his 20s and a woman in her late 30s were found around 11:30 a.m. in the 5100 block of West 25th Place, according to a release from Cicero spokesman Ray Hanania.

“Police believe, at this point in the investigation, the cause may have involved the victims themselves, and there is no evidence that there is an outside threat to the community,” Hanania said.

One of the two was pronounced dead at 11:43 a.m., while the other was pronounced dead at 11:46 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Their identifications were not released.
