The Republicans on the House Intel Committee have been using their sham of a Trump-Russia investigation for the primary purpose of trying to sabotage the legitimate Trump-Russia investigation. Devin Nunes and Trey Gowdy were the prime players. They have obstructed and delayed or denied any real attempt to investigate.
What if, instead of opening sporting events with the national anthem (which has nothing to do with the game), they just started the same with…playing the game? Crazy, I know, but if it generates so much strife and has nothing to do with the sport, why not just skip it?

Senator Lindsay Graham said he wouldn’t repeat what President Trump said during the immigration meeting because “I want to make sure that I can keep talking to the president.” That tells you what you need to know, and it’s quite shameful.
