The body of a man was found behind an industrial building in the Back of the Yards neighborhood Tuesday afternoon, Chicago police said.
Officers went to the area about 12:25 p.m. after someone reported a person down in the 4300 block of South Packers Avenue, according to Officer Patrick McGinnis, a police spokesman.
The man, who was believed to have been dead for a long time, was found behind a manufacturing building, police said.
Area Central detectives were conducting a death investigation.
