Super Bowl police enforcement results
The Naperville Police Department made two drunken driving arrests and issued three seat belt citations during the weekend-long Super Bowl enforcement campaigns, according to a news release from the department.
The goal of the campaigns, “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and “Click It or Ticket,” was to keep impaired drivers off the roads and get more people to buckle up, the release said.
The law enforcement crackdowns were funded by a federal highway safety funds grant administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation .
