I went to a dance performance recently at a local high school. There were little kids all the way to up to teenagers involved. It was just awesome. They did such a great job and I wanted to thank all of them for their talent. It was just a beautiful event. It’s a shame that we can’t have a lot more things like this in our culture. I think it heals the soul a lot when you see something nice. Thank you very much.

Something needs to be done around these schools that are now closed. Sometimes the weeds are waist-high. There are areas on the side of these schools where you can’t even walk down the sidewalk. We need to get rid of these eyesores.

Seeing people, especially those at shelters, who help the homeless is heartwarming. I’m going to send the shelter a donation and I hope that all Speak Out readers will do the same.

When it comes to distracted driving, is it not a distraction to look at a crash when you’re driving?
