On Tuesday, the Marriott Theatre announced casting for its upcoming production of ‘Murder for Two,’ in which a duo takes on 13 roles in less than 90 minutes, remaining on stage for the entire crime- and piano-driven comedy.

Under the direction of Jeff Award-winner Scott Weinstein, Noel Carey, star of the show’s national tour, will play Officer Marcus Moscowicz, a two-bit cop who dreams of being promoted to detective. Jason Grimm plays The Suspects — all of ‘em — in a murder that Marcus investigates, with the actor playing everything from a prima ballerina to a too-sweet psychiatrist. Both actors will perform on piano throughout the show, often playing at the same time.

The show will run July 3 through August 26 at the company’s facilities in Lincolnshire, at 10 Marriott Drive.
