An aerosol can placed too close to a grill caused a small flash fire inside a food truck during the Oswego Farmers Market Sunday morning, Oswego Fire Department officials said.
Oswego firefighters responded at 11:33 a.m. to the corner of Jefferson and Main streets and found a small fire had occurred inside a vendor’s food truck. According to a news release, workers extinguished the blaze before firemen arrived on the scene.
Firefighters checked the food tuck for any signs of fire or hazards and found none.
Oswego Fire Department paramedics treated one person on the scene for minor injuries. Fire crews determined there were no additional hazards to bystanders. The Oswego Farmers Market remained open throughout the incident, fire department officials said.
