Priorities get action: Medical science can make miracles when the demand is greater than lust for money. Look how swiftly a handle was gotten on the AIDS epidemic when the entire gay community was threatened with extinction. Today, AIDS is not spoken of. (It’s) as if it never existed.
What would Putin do? Russia’s President Putin, leader of his totalitarian government with his little smile, watches the United States like he’s seeing a comic opera. How would he deal with the insults President Trump gets each day? You know how he would deal with it.
Jensen must go: If instead of it being Decynthia Clements, a troubled young woman, exiting that burning car, (it was) the known daughter of an Elgin officer, I guarantee she would be alive today. A less-than-lethal method would have been used. Tasers. Pepper balls. Pepper spray. Or, perhaps a fire hose or extinguisher. After all, she was exiting a burning vehicle. Lt. Jensen overreacted. I expected better from a veteran trained tactical officer. Of course, he said all the right things. He was afraid for his safety and for the safety of other officers. That is what everyone says when that kills someone, whether justified or not. The result was never in doubt when he fired two .45 caliber slugs into Decynthia’s head and one into her chest. Instant execution. Let’s make sure Jensen never serves or protects or kills again.
Both parties have problems: The Republican Party is outdated, that is why Bruce Rauner was a do-nothing governor. On the other hand, Democrats have no morals or principles so now marijuana is legal and the gasoline tax is doubled. Illinois is in recovery.
Following God’s rules: Christianity and churches need to stand up for what they mean. It’s not all about God. It’s being respectful, kind, serving mankind, serving people in need and, yes, the rules God laid down for us to live by, such as the 10 commandments. Let’s all get behind this. All races and creeds fill our churches and work for the kingdom of God, who created us.
Not a racial issue: I see (U.S.) Rep. Elijah Cummings is not happy with the new border center opening up for illegal immigrant kids in Texas. He said it amounts to child abuse. I have an idea. How about everyone in Hollywood, all these Democrats, all these liberal idiots, take in the families of these illegal immigrants. Then we wouldn’t be spending $1,000 a day on each kid trying to cloth them, feed them and house them. It’s not our job. It’s their parents’ job, who should be in the country they came from instead of being here illegally. I don’t for the life of me understand what people can’t understand about this topic. It has nothing to do with racism.
