If any of you think Mike Pence is any better than Trump, you must not have a very good memory of when he was Governor here. They BOTH need to be impeached and sent to prison. Along with Barr — oh what the heck, just sent them all to Riker’s Island for a vacation.
Dear Hobart and New Chicago police: I think it’s really great how supportive of each other you are to the point half a dozen of you will show up to direct traffic at a simple fender bender. That said, do you really think it takes three police officers working at the same time to direct one intersection? And if you do, maybe all of you should coordinate instead of everybody doing their own thing.
Donald Trump has labeled his whistleblower a spy, called it treason and even dropped a veiled threat. Is this not witness tampering? Will the whistleblower have to go under witness protection?
It’s been a while since I’ve seen anything in the P-T about this story, so I’d like to post a reminder. It has been over two years since Hobart resident Eric Hummel pointed a pistol at his daughter’s face and shot her to death. There is no dispute or doubt that that is what happened. But Hummel has a good lawyer and the Lake County prosecutor’s office is chicken, so Eric Hummel is living free and has faced no consequences.
Trump is at one of the lowest and worst parts of his presidency, and he spends his time fundraising.
Does Trump know that he can’t tweet his way out of impeachment?
I hope they do a complete investigation for this latest witch hunt. If they do, there will be a major housecleaning done in Washington, DC. Democrats will become obsolete. No more Democrats — all corrupt!
Don’t forget, this is not a case of Democrats against Republicans, or really about the next political election. The President of the United States created this mess, we didn’t. He needs to be held accountable for what he has done. This is about the future of our democracy, or allowing the president to rule as a king.
Mitch McConnell and other members of the GOP accused the Democrats of rushing to judgement in calling for an impeachment inquiry. I wonder what they would do if a Democrat behaved in this manner?
There are legitimate arguments to be made for the regulation of AR-15 type firearms. For whom they were originally designed isn’t on the list. If you had any idea what you were talking about, you would know most modern firearms designs could trace their designs to military contracts, including revolvers and Dad’s deer rifle. But you don’t know what you’re talking about. You don’t even know what you’re trying to get rid of, and you appear to be proud of your ignorance. Hooray for you.
Donald Trump has trampled the lives of so many, trashed reputations, tarnished careers, blamed others for his own failures and thrown much of his own regime under the bus. His behavior has about sucked out all the oxygen of this White House, the Republican party, even Congress. Four more years?
