Yep, a trial without any witnesses or supporting documents is a coverup. The only fairy tale that I can see, is that Trump, our liar-in-chief, made a “perfect” call.
It cost us taxpayers millions and millions of dollars to send Trump and his entourage (including $34,000 for Ivanka’s car rentals) to Davos, Switzerland, where he gave the keynote address at the World Economic Forum. He was booed by the audience when he attacked the press, called those concerned about climate change “prophets of doom,” and at a later press conference called New York congressman Jerry Nadler “a sleazebag” and said how much he’d like to sit in the front row at his impeachment trial and “stare into the corrupt faces” of his accusers. This is the President of the United States, folks. He is a national disgrace.
Trump just tweeted that he has the evidence and the Senate won’t get it. He won’t release any documents in the impeachment trial. Your democracy is slipping away to a reality TV con man. Wake up and call your senator to defend the Constitution against this man or you won’t have a democracy to defend!
What the Republicans are trying to do in this Impeachment trial is make sure that President Trump can continue with his corruption and they can continue to get their infusion of cash from Russia. And Trump just wants to be able go about his corruption without anyone calling him out on it.
The local public servant in Quickly says that money you’re making in your 401k or any other investment you have won’t last forever. So I have a news flash for the public servant Trump hater — I doubt if your hating the president has any affect on President Trump, but it sure is affecting you. Do you dream about him too?
If Trump is as innocent as he keeps saying, then just testify already.
Republicans never wanted a fair trial; they just wanted a cover up.
Trump, Schiff, Pelosi, Mitch, Impeachment — that’s all that everyone wants to comment on anymore. Can we start arguing and disagreeing on some local issues also?
I am a lifelong Republican who did not and could not vote for Trump. I was turned off by his arrogance long before he ran for president. He’s ethically and morally corrupt and I am appalled and horrified by the things he has done. I’m also mystified how anyone who calls themselves a Christian could support this man. He has done everything imaginable that is totally against Christian values and faith. All the lies and atrocities he has committed makes no difference to his supporters. This is not the Republican party of my parents or my grandparents. May God help us!
Republicans have great faith in Donald Trump. They actually believe that some day he will start telling the truth and make them proud.
Trump certainly picked his legal team well. They’re a perfect reflection of Trump himself. In the opening session of the impeachment trial they’ve shown that they’re perfectly comfortable twisting the facts and delivering one lie after another with straight faces. You’d think a normal person would be a little embarrassed, but not these guys.
I wonder how the White House moron is embarrassing this country over in Davos? Every time he opens his big mouth he spews out lies, stupidity or inflammatory comments. I wonder how much it would cost us for Davos to keep him and Ivanka over there permanently.
I, for one, have no intention of watching the impeachment trial since the Republicans have made it crystal clear that they will not be impartial or consider any of the evidence before they vote. Plus, the Democrats have completely botched it by not having key witnesses like Bolton and Parnas testify at the House hearings earlier. It will be a total waste of time and the end result will be Trump still occupying the White House. At least, I hope, until November’s elections.
