The Attorney for Recorder Michael Brown is defending him by saying that he is the victim, not the perpetrator. But when the judge issued a warrant for the material on Mr. Brown’s phone for evidence, they filed a motion to stop the transfer of any evidence. Doesn’t sound like what an innocent man would do.
So the Republicans made the argument that as long as Trump thinks he is doing what is best for the country, he couldn’t have committed a crime. Fast forward to 2024. What if Trump says it is best for the country if he remain president and he suspends all elections? That is the end of our democracy and the Republican just wrote the ticket. They should all be voted out of office for dereliction of duty.
Any sane, halfway-normal American has to look at all of the firings, all of the resignations, all of the abnormal behavior by this administration and be alarmed at what is happening. This is not funny, and this is not partisan politics, because most of the people being fired are Republicans. This is a wanna-be dictator, and the GOP is scared to death of him.
After his comments yesterday there is only way to say it. Rush Limbaugh is a disgrace to the Medal of Freedom, the Republican Party and to mankind. Trump is slapping the face of any true Patriot that believes in law, order and our democracy. How does the Christian right support this?
Alan Dershowitz is on TV trying to convince people that it’s entirely normal for a president to steer the Justice Department to go after some and not others. What a disgrace he is to the legal profession. Because of Alan Dershowitz, America now knows that Trump is just as innocent as Jeffrey Epstein and O.J. Simpson.
I used to think that we had a firewall to protect our government. But we are seeing a madman tearing our government apart, with the help of a Russian financed Republican Party and Attorney General. We are talking about a Republican cult that will drink bleach if Trump asks them too, that’s how far gone they are.
When AG Bill Barr goes in front of Congress next month to testify, you’re going to see Bill Barr dissect the Democrats when it comes to the rule of law. It’s going to be a classic for the intellectually stupid and I hope every Trump hater on the planet watches it. There so bewilder know it’s comical just watching them, like a GUTTED fish.
Several of the Republican senators who refused to convict Trump are now acknowledging that he learned nothing from his impeachment, as though this tepid admission that they might have made a teensy little mistake makes everything okay for them. Sorry, you don’t get a mulligan for gross dereliction of your constitutional duty. You blew it, and if there is any justice at all, you will pay for it at the ballot box.
The White House moron was born with a gold spoon in his mouth, the product of a father who was equally corrupt and evil with no redeeming qualities. You can tell by looking at him that he has never had to miss a meal in his whole miserable life, unlike many Americans who have to decide whether to buy food, a prescription or pay their mortgage. This is what is running this country and deciding the fate of millions of hard working families. Think about this when you are at one of his rambling lie filled rallies grinning and clapping only to feed his giant ego.
Michael Bloomberg responded to Trump’s repeated taunting by saying “We know the same people in New York. Behind your back they laugh at you and call you a carnival barking clown. They know you inherited a fortune and squandered it with stupid deals and incompetence.”
I look forward to the Quickly column every morning. I “quickly” scan for the daily post by the Trump supporter then copy and paste to my Facebook page. My friends and relatives locally, and also around the country, look forward to this daily post. They always tell me that they like to start off their days with a good belly laugh.
Our stable genius has engineered the first trillion dollar budget deficit since 2012. He can’t declare bankruptcy or refuse to pay contractors like he has in his personal business dealings numerous times. People point to their 401k as a reason they like Trump, but at what cost? You can’t kick the can down the road forever. Economic cuts will be on the backs of the 99%. Can we survive four more years of this narcissistic idiot?
