A 20-year-old Park Forest man and a 21-year-old Steger woman were hospitalized Monday after being wounded in a shooting in Park Forest, according to police.
The shooting occurred at about 11:45 a.m. in the 200 block of Mantua Street, Park Forest police said.
The man suffered serious injuries while the woman suffered what police said was a nonlife-threatening injury to an extremity.
