“It’s China’s fault. It’s Europe’s fault. It’s the WHO’s fault. It’s the governors’ fault. It’s not my fault. I take no responsibility. Everything I did was right, in fact perfect. But I get no credit. Poor me (and it’s all about me). Boo hoo.” Isn’t it amazing how Trump’s worshippers have managed so successfully to suppress their gag reflex?
Trump is signing my stimulus check? With his bankruptcy record, I better run to the bank to cash it!
Americans in financial distress will have their relief checks delayed, because President Trump insisted on having his name added to the memo line. Also he had no problem having the U.S. Postal Service delivering those checks, even though they are on the verge of collapse.
Trump said “Those tasked with protecting us by being truthful and transparent failed to do so. It would have been so easy to be truthful. And so much death has been caused by their mistakes.” And he can’t even see the irony. The most tone deaf person that has ever been in office.
Indiana Republican congressman Trey Hollingsworth says it’s time “to put on our big girl and big boy pants” and acknowledge that sacrificing lives in order to save our economy is “the lesser of two evils.” On Wikipedia, 36-year old Hollingsworth is described as “a businessman and politician.” My guess is that as of the November election, the voters of the 9th district in Indiana will ensure that Hollingsworth is no longer described as a politician.
Why should the airlines get bailed out? They should be forced to do what small business, entrepreneurs and private businesses are having to do. They should have to adapt to a necessary shutdown and figure out how to survive without billons of taxpayer dollars. If we keep this up, the Fed will be bankrupt. Something the president is very familiar with.
At his briefings, Trump continues to ridicule female reporters, calling them “fake,” telling one to “be nice,” talking over them, and sidestepping their perfectly legitimate questions. But it’s female reporters by and large who are making him look like a blustering fool. Keep it up, ladies.
Our President Trump caved on his desires to manage the recovery of our economy. He had wanted to manage it, but so did several Democratic governors. He realized it is a battle not worth pursuing — I admire him for that. He always has the welfare of the country in mind for every move he makes. Good man. Now we will see a flood of armchair quarterbacks criticizing every blip in our economic recovery efforts. Who will they blame? Those with jobs will blame the Democrats. Those milking a free ride will blame the Republicans.
Trump was so unhinged at his own press briefing that he threatened to storm out if the reporter continued to ask him a question. That was the entire purpose of the question and answer time.
I hope that everyone understands that the check the Treasury is sending you with Trump’s name scribbled on it, is your money. It’s your tax dollars that Congress appropriated. Trump is basically the guy who lends you back your own lawnmower he borrowed and has had at his house for months.
