Canadian singer Grimes, paramour of auto and space tycoon Elon Musk, has given birth to their son, her first child and his seventh.
The birth announcement was as cryptic as the one for the initial pregnancy.
“Mom & Baby all good,” the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX tweeted.
Four hours before that, he had tweeted Grimes was just “a few hours away” from having the baby.
Later Monday evening the Tesla tycoon tweeted, “X A-12 Musk” when a follower asked for a name. He answered, “boy” to another query.
The pregnancy came to light in January via an Instagram post by Grimes showing her topless and with a fetus superimposed on her rounded belly.
She went on to chronicle things like her pregnancy diet and other issues.
Musk has five living children with former wife Justine Wilson, the Canadian author. A seventh, his oldest, died at 10 weeks of sudden infant death syndrome, according to The Independent.
Musk, 48, and 31-year-old Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, have been dating since 2018.
