Amanda Kloots, the wife of Broadway actor Nick Cordero, on Wednesday said her husband had a difficult day as he recovers from complications of coronavirus that sent him into a coma for more than a month.

“Things are going a little down hill at the moment,” Kloots said in an Instagram story. “I am asking again for all the prayers.”

Cordero, 41, had his leg amputated during his lengthy ordeal at Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and at one point Kloots said that the Tony-nominee’s lungs had holes in them. Cordero emerged from his coma a week ago, Kloots said.

In an Instagram caption on a picture of Cordero posted Wednesday, Kloots wrote: “Mega prayers for this special man right now. God continue to grant miracles.”
