Just imagine if Obama ridiculed Melania Trump and sneered at her the way Trump did with Michelle Obama. The Republican outrage would be deafening. But with Trump, the bar of civilized behavior has been lowered right down to the ground.
Is anyone at all surprised that there are virus spikes at happening at universities right now? I mean anyone besides science deniers. Will our local school districts be next?

To the person who wrote complaining about people who are against schools reopening and assume we want to be dining downtown Valpo and attending sporting events: Maybe you missed it, but many have also spoken loudly against city officials sponsoring public events. We have complained viciously to those same officials for doing so. And we have pointed out the carelessness of the mayor inviting Chicago residents via Chicago media to dine, play and recreate in our area. Many of us are smart enough not to want school reopened. And we don’t want city sponsored events either. Where did you hear otherwise?
Trump is seething over Michelle Obama’s speech on Monday night and Jill Biden’s on Tuesday because their articulate and heartfelt delivery is something he’s just incapable of doing. And OMG! He’s being shown up by women!
Two members from a Hebron school have tested positive for COVID-19. Two children from Valpo schools also tested positive. Will the community be informed each time (most likely daily) that there is a positive case, or will only those enrolled in schools be notified? Who is letting the rest of us know when cases go up within the schools’ populations?
Republicans show time and time again that they do not respect women. Their vulgar comments about them means that they are so afraid of them taking their jobs away from them. Insecure, unprepared, unqualified, bullies, afraid that the smart girls are going to knock them out of their cushy little positions.
My routine TV watching was in the toilet last night. All three networks carried the Democratic Convention. So I watched some of it. Where do they find these people? Anyone with a job knows that what they were saying in their propaganda speeches was not true. I find it hard to believe that they find gullible people to eat up this garbage!
I don’t know why people still call Republicans conservatives. They’re not; they’re regressives. We have two main political factions, progressives and regressives. One wants to move forward and prepare for the future and the other wants to regress to the 1950’s.
The best thing for Biden is to let Trump keep talking. People who vote are starting to see how desperate he is to win by changing the rules. We did not elect a king or dictator but he acts like one.
If the Post Office can handle 1.3 billion Christmas cards every December, 150 million ballots should be a snap. Do the math.

If you think Trump is going to lose this election, you are deluding yourself. There are millions of voters that won’t admit to supporting him for obvious reasons but will still vote for him. That’s why the polling was wrong in 2016 and is wrong today.

They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for less.” They won’t allow their employees to wear political paraphernalia, so he wants them boycotted.
