A Lawndale neighborhood man was charged with looting and burglary to a business, and was accused of throwing objects at a 64-year-old victim, Chicago police said.
Richard McClellan, 54, of the 2700 block of West Harrison Street, was charged Saturday with one count each of felony burglary and looting, and misdemeanor simple assault, police said.
McClellan was arrested Friday afternoon in the 200 block of South Wabash Avenue after verbally assaulting and throwing objects at another man, 64, in the Loop neighborhood.
McClellan also was identified as the person who burglarized and looted a business on Aug. 11, police said. He was scheduled to appear at a bail hearing Saturday.
