“Law & Order” is being loudly flung around our country lately. It seems at present, it is being perceived by many as “law and order by force.” That implies that alignment between laws and enforcement of law practices is in need of a hard, critical and sincere look.

Might adherence to “order” follow willingly and without coercion when laws are thoughtfully and fairly enacted by our elected “officials” AND thoughtfully and fairly enforced by our law enforcement “officials?”

Trust is earned. “Officials,” at all levels, truly need to be worthy of the trust people place in them – or ever hope to.
