A Zion man has been charged with the sexual assault of a young woman earlier this month along a Waukegan bike path, police said Friday.
The victim, who is in her late teens, did not know her attacker, according to police.
Regjae McMullen, 25, was arrested this week and charged Thursday with criminal sexual assault, according to court files.

Waukegan police say a woman reported that she was assaulted Nov. 5 along a bike path near the 2900 block of North McAree and the 2900 block of North Lewis. Based on their investigation, police said they identified and arrested McMullen near the 2900 block of North Lewis on Tuesday and charged him in the assault.
McMullen was being held Friday at the Lake County jail in lieu of $350,000 bail. He has a Dec. 2 court date.
