Emilia Clarke is moving from one huge franchise to another.
The former “Game of Thrones” star is reportedly joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to Variety, Clarke – who previously starred in “Solo: A Star Wars Story” – is in final negotiations for Marvel Studios’ upcoming “Secret Invasion,” which will stream on Disney+.
The classically-trained British actress has become an international icon for her portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen on HBO’s global smash “Game of Thrones,” which is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its premiere.
Emmy-nominated Academy Award winner Olivia Colman is already signed on to the project, joining Samuel L. Jackson, who is reprising his MCU role of Nick Fury on the small screen for the first time (since a one-off appearance in “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”)
Also joining Fury will be the shape-shifting Skrull named Talos, played by Ben Mendelsohn, reprising his role from “Captain Marvel” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”
The outlet also reported that “One Night in Miami” star Kingsley Ben-Adir has also been cast.
Executive produced and written by Kyle Bradstreet, “Secret Invasion” is based on Marvel’s fan-favorite 2008 comics event of the same name which imagines that the shape-shifting extraterrestrials (known as Skrulls) had used their powers to kidnap and assume the identities of various superheroes, in advance of a full-on invasion of Earth.
