Dead body found in Eldridge Park lagoon in Elmhurst

A deceased man was found by Elmhurst police Tuesday May 18 after they responded to a call reporting a body in the lagoon at Eldridge Park, 363 Commonwealth Lane.

Police were dispatched at 7:50 a.m. and found the body in the water upon arrival. The manner and cause of death have yet to be determined, police said. The name of the deceased is being withheld, pending notification to family members.
