A 28-year-old man was shot in the chin Thursday afternoon on the Far South Side, according to Chicago police.

Just before 3 p.m., the two were inside a vehicle in the 1700 block of East 95th Street in the Calumet Heights neighborhood when someone approached them and fired shots, police said.

Earlier, police said the 7-year-old boy’s ear was grazed by a bullet.

They drove to Advocate Trinity Hospital, where they were listed in good condition, police said.
