Aurora police are continuing to investigate what they are calling an apparent murder-suicide Friday on the city’s West Side, police officials said.

Carolyn Walker, 62, of the 2100 block of North Kensington Place, was found shot to death inside her home, police said. Kenneth Milon, 66, of Orland Park, was also found dead inside the home with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, Aurora police said in a news release.

Police continue to investigate the incident and preliminary information shows Walker and Milon were in a domestic relationship that recently ended, police said.

The Aurora Police Department’s Special Response Team found the two dead in Walker’s Kensington Place home around 12:30 p.m. Friday.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the circumstances surrounding the deaths or with access to home security videos to call 630-256-5500.
