A Gary man faces charges after pointing a rifle at a woman, then throwing rocks at her house months later.

Devion J. Flemming, 18, was charged April 20 with three counts of criminal recklessness, a level 5 felony, one count each of pointing a firearm, a level 6 felony and misdemeanor criminal mischief.

He is not in custody, ordered at first to be held without bail.

Documents alleged Flemming showed up to the woman’s house at 7:20 p.m. March 14. She knew him as her daughter’s friend and let him stay at her house for about a week around Thanksgiving.

She kicked him out after he asked her 17-year-old daughter to perform a sex act, documents state.

That night in March, the woman went to the door and asked Flemming what he wanted, noticing his friend near a vehicle across the street.

” (Expletive), I got you,” he said, pulling out a black rifle and pointing it at her.

The woman ran with her children to the back of the house, she said. They heard a few gunshots. No one was hurt. She later found bullet holes in her house.

Later on April 18, Flemming came over and threw rocks when she wasn’t home, shattering her storm door glass and damaging some other windows, charges allege.
