Daring Putin: I fear that the constant talk about Putin using nuclear weapons by our country’s news media sounds more like a dare than mere speculation of what that ruthless Russian dictator might do. I freely admit that I’m horrified at what I’m hearing, especially for my grandchildren. If only Wolf Blitzer would tell us all to ignore the rumors, I know I’d sleep better tonight.
Blame DeJoy: Complaints about mail delivery may well be justified, but who is at the root of the problem? Perhaps it is the Trump appointee Louis DeJoy, the postmaster general who has openly slowed delivery and put other constraints on the mail service?
I want a break too: With all of this talk about student loan forgiveness, I have an issue with it. I myself didn’t care to go to college so I entered the trades. So how about an auto loan forgiveness so I can continue going to work.
Questions about Musk: Elon Musk holds citizenship in three countries, South Africa, Canada and the United States. Of course, his primary allegiance is to money. Why should a person with such divided loyalties be allowed to own a platform as important to the public discourse as Twitter? One wonders where he’s getting the money for this purchase? Reporting has indicated he has had to go to the banks for the cash. He is not paying out of his own pocket. So what collateral are the banks demanding from Musk, if any? Or is this right-wing conspiracy of a corrupt billionaire and a corrupt bank? Perhaps even Russian banks.
Scary retaliation: Disagreeing with Ron DeSantis is generating some of the same retaliatory actions as some frighteningly similar former leaders. Scary. Very scary.
Waiting for promises: One Speak Out commenter is mad that the Democrats might pay off student loans. Well, I am still waiting on the trickle down effect from your God, Ronald Reagan, and Trump’s health care plan.
Bring in mercenaries: I’d like to ask people around here if Russia can bring in mercenaries to fight the Ukrainians, why can’t the Ukrainians bring in their own mercenaries? They would be able to get thousands of people from different countries to come over there and fight for them. If Putin can bring in mercenaries because his soldiers can’t do nothing the right way, why can’t the Ukrainian government bring in the same?
