Aurora-based Carver Aero is being renamed revv aviation.
The fixed-base operator at the Aurora Municipal Airport, as well as in seven other Midwest airports, has taken a new name with a new tagline, “Aviation, from the ground up.”
The family-owned company will continue to offer a full line of aviation services, along with rapid growth, which has added several locations in the last two years, officials said.
The company has integrated legacy family businesses – such as the former Luman Air in Aurora – into one network of full-service fixed-based operators.
In addition to Aurora, the company operates at airports in Council Bluffs, Iowa; Davenport, Iowa; Janesville, Wisconsin; Muscatine, Iowa; Schaumburg; and Sioux City, Iowa.
The company expects to add several other locations this year.
Revv provides a full range of aviation services at the seven airports, which include flight training, business and personal charter services, freight and medical transport, aircraft maintenance/avionics, aircraft management and sales, as well as fixed-base operator services with fueling, storage and pilot services.
Peter Limberger, chairman of CL Enterprises, which owns revv, said the company’s “vision is to be a trusted provider” of services for many communities throughout the Midwest and beyond for many decades.
“Revv aviation will build on the legacies of aviation family businesses throughout the Midwest and provide long-term careers and good-paying jobs in an expanding industry,” he said.
CL Enterprises, based in Peru, Illinois, is revv’s parent holding company owned by husband and wife Peter Limberger and Inga Carus.
CL Enterprises invests, owns and manages a range of businesses, including agriculture, hospitality, real estate development, manufacturing and aviation, mostly in smaller Midwestern towns.
