In what world where a 10-year-old is pregnant due to rape, do we force this child to deliver a baby?
Even though it’s clear that the physician who performed the abortion for the 10-year-old girl from Ohio filed all the requisite reports, Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita is still willfully smearing her, and threatening to “go after” her license to practice medicine. I hope she gets a good attorney, sues Rokita for defamation, and “goes after” his license to practice law. He is an out of control embarrassment to every person in the state. Who votes for a puffed-up bully like Rokita?
Trump is guilty of an act that’s worse than the Big Lie. In 2018, under the guise of “draining the swamp”, he shut down an effort started 2 years earlier by then President Obama. This effort was aimed at establishing protocols for combating a pandemic should the U.S. be threatened by one. When the COVID pandemic struck, Trump chose to ignore any work completed by this effort and handled the whole pandemic threat like the untalented amateur he was. This cost many lives.
Has anyone received their $125 automatic taxpayer refund? It was promised. No one I know has received it. Why?
Donald Trump has again shown that he supports foreign countries more than America. His support of the LIV Golf shows this to be true. With Trump, it’s all about him and the money.
Every pregnant woman living in Texas should be released from jail immediately. Her unborn child committed no crime and therefore is being jailed for no reason. Release them now!
It is not surprising that some Republicans still claim Trump knows what he is doing. These are the same people who were born to be led. They are like parents who claim their children do nothing wrong while other children do the same wrong action. They are not thinkers but followers.
What is is about facts that makes Democrats run like a scared jack rabbit if they even hear the mention of facts? Mention facts on this Jan. 6 dog and pony show and the Democrats go cower in the corner! All they want to hear is Trump bashers! No facts allowed!
If the Republican voters in Wyoming reject Liz Cheney, then I hope we can encourage her to become a Hoosier. Her performance as Vice-Chairman of the Jan. 6 Committee is outstanding and riveting. If she were here, I’d consider being a Republican again.
Dear Quickly: Help me out here. The Federal Reserve is raising interest rates to battle difficult inflation. I get that. But here’s what I don’t get: When the Fed moved, home mortgage rates jumped by 3% to over 6%. Almost immediately. So …. I went down to my local back to see how much my interest rate would go up on my savings. Guess what. No interest increase for my hard-earned money. Still stuck at less than ONE-TENTH of 1%(!) So, it seems that higher interest rates help them, but not us. Heads they win; tails we lose. Surprised? Me either.
Thanks to the January 6th hearings we now know that sitting GOP Congresspeople continued to lie about election fraud even after they knew it wasn’t true. My question is why are they still sitting in congress and holding seats on committees? Shouldn’t they be removed?
It is high time all the Trumpers in this country pull their heads out of the sand or wherever they have it stuck and understand the reality of their choice for a hero. Well, some people made John Dillinger or Al Capone their hero. Must be they are drawn to the criminal types.
