The person who wrote about all the religious fiascos that have occurred was right on. It’s about to happen again. People who want to ban abortions simply want to play God and don’t understand the ramifications. Those seeking abortions can’t provide for or want a child. So you want to condemn those children to a life of pain and agony and in all likelihood poverty? Are you going to adopt these children to be sure they are cared for? I think not. Every night when you go to bed think about all the children you have put in jeopardy just so you can claim you saved lives.

Every once in a while, I make myself sick by listening to liberal radio just to get an opposing point of view. Everybody’s up in arms about this 13-year-old carjacker who was shot. How come nobody’s up in arms about the parents of the 13-year-old carjacker and why is 13-year-old carjacking cars with a gun by the way? Nobody seems to worry about that.

Yeah, I was just wondering how come the Republican states, like Florida, the gas is $3. 61 a gallon but yet in the Democratic states like Illinois it’s $5.29 or $5.39. What happened? Didn’t Pritzker get the message to lower our gas prices? If this isn’t reason to live in a Republican state I don’t know what is.

Hospitals are a risk to patients with low-grade health issues. Unless your illness is life threatening requiring surgery or incubation, don’t go. Staph infections are numerous in hospitals.

I am a proud Black woman who worked two jobs to keep a roof over my children’s heads and food on the table. I also attended night school to get a college education. I was fortunate to have a mother who I call my caretaker. Chicago is listed as being No. 2 in homicide rate for Blacks. I have witnessed the reason mostly Black men turned out the way they are, because of a single mother who turns the other cheek, who doesn’t see or believe what’s going on around her. There are hardworking Black mothers who are doing their best. My heart goes out to them.
