Time to call Biden out: How ironic is it that readers will complain about Trump lying yet completely ignore the whoppers the president tells every week, if not daily! If your complaint is truly lying and not just hate for Trump, then shouldn’t we call out Joe also for being one of the biggest liars in U.S. politics?
Give Biden his due: A contributor said they never saw one thing Biden has done because we attack the twice-impeached Trump. Well, here goes: Restores American leadership in the world, American Rescue Plan, infrastructure law passed, expanded health care, Inflation Reduction Act included making corporations pay their fair share of taxes, climate change, lowering drug cost, no increase in our taxes for people making under $400,000 per year, improved health care for veterans and signed the CHIPS Act.
Vindictive agenda? Did I miss something in all the excitement over the Dems winning a majority in the Senate? Is inflation no longer of concern or gun violence or the demise of our planet due to climate change? One might think so considering the Republican agenda for next year is investigating Hunter Biden and bringing Joe Biden’s impeachment to the floor for a vote. Are they really serving the will of the people or merely being vindictive and petty like their exiled leader?
Women voted, GOP lost: I’m a conservative and, of course, I’m disappointed with pretty much everything in Illinois. But the Republicans have to take the blame for a few things. The first thing they’ve got to take blame for is Roe v. Wade. Could have just left that alone. I work the polls. I’m a precinct captain and the women that voted, voted Democrat for women’s rights. So there’s a lesson to be learned here. Don’t mess with something that isn’t broken.
Here’s how it works: Watching the NBA on TV is a waste of time for the first three quarters of the game. They trade shots keeping a game close. Then in the last quarter, they play with more intensity. So basketball fans, wait to the last quarter to watch the game.
