Assault
At 3:46 p.m. Jan. 22, the Western Springs Police responded to a residence on the 5500 block of Woodland Drive involving an ongoing neighborhood property dispute. One subject was served with a no trespassing citation for refusing to leave the property. The subject was also cited under a local ordinance for assault because they tried to punch the other subject. No arrests were made.
Identity theft
A resident on the 4300 block of Johnson Avenue reported at 10:50 a.m. Jan. 16 that someone tried to open a credit card in their name without permission. No financial loss was reported.
