The following items were taken from Park Ridge Police Department bulletins. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

Traffic violations

Jack Cassidy, 21, of the 1500 block of Belle Plaine Avenue, Park Ridge, was arrested Jan. 23 for reckless driving, speeding up to 10 mph over the posted speed limit and improper lane usage at the intersection of Oakton Street and Greenwood Avenue, police said.

Oleg Hrishnyy, 20, of the 5700 block of Byron Street, Chicago, was arrested Jan. 23 for speeding more than 35 mph over the posted speed limit, improper lane usage, failure to use a signal while changing lanes, driving on an expired registration, reckless driving and failing to reduce speed near an approaching emergency vehicle at the intersection of Dee Road and Devon Avenue, police said.

David Martin, 27, of the 100 block of South Harvey Avenue, Oak Park, was arrested Jan. 25 for driving on a suspended driver’s license, driving without a seat belt and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at the intersection of Potter Road and Dempster Street, police said.

Randy Jones, 57, of the 8800 block of Carleah Street, Des Plaines, was arrested Jan. 25 for driving on a suspended vehicle registration at the intersection of Potter Road and Prairie Avenue, police said.

Anthony Assenato, 25, of the 600 block of Riverside Drive, Park Ridge, was arrested Jan. 25 for speeding 26-34 mph over the speed limit and disobeying a red light at the intersection of Talcott and Dee Roads, police said.

A male juvenile was arrested Jan. 25 on the 1100 block of Dee Road for speeding 26-34 mph over the speed limit, driving on an expired registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and obstructing the driver’s view, police said.

Ewelina Kajmowicz, 36, of the 5100 block of East River Road, Chicago, was arrested Jan. 26 for driving on a suspended driver’s license and vehicle registration at the intersection of Higgins Road and Cumberland Avenue, police said.

Angel Castillo-Prado, 22, of the 2900 block of Arthur Avenue, was arrested Jan. 27 for speeding 26-34 mph and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at the intersection of Devon and Lincoln Avenues, police said.

Assault

Theodore Kellner, 31, of the 1700 block of Dempster Street, was arrested Jan. 25 for assault and criminal damage to property on the 1700 block of Dempster Street, police said.

Trespass

A 17-year-old male from Park Ridge was arrested Jan. 27 for trespassing on the 2600 block of Dempster Street, police said.

Speeding

Diane Rico-Miles, 38, of the 6700 block of Algonquin Avenue, Chicago, was arrested Jan. 26 for speeding 26-34 mph over the speed limit at the intersection of Oakton Street and Washington Avenue, police said.

Theft

Two unknown subjects were captured on security footage Jan. 20 removing a blade from a snowplow while parked on the 1400 block of Renaissance Drive, police said.

A Maine East High School student’s jacket was taken Jan. 21 from the school cafeteria, police said.

Burglary

An unknown subject accessed a residence on the 1800 block of Linden Avenue Jan. 24 and took an unknown amount of money, jewelry and cigars, police said.

An unknown subject accessed a residence on the 1600 block of Linden Avenue Jan. 25 took $100 in cash, jewelry and collectible coins, police said.

A resident of the 1800 block of West Fenton Lane observed furniture moved and two unknown subjects having pried open her sliding door Jan. 25, police said. Police said they cleared the home but could not locate the subjects and it is unknown if anything was taken.

An unknown subject used a pry tool to access a parking garage through a side door, accessed a storage locker and took golf equipment from a residence on the 1700 block of Pavilion Way Jan. 26, police said.

Criminal damage to property

The owner of Sushi Express on Prospect Avenue heard a loud bang outside the rear door and the door leading into a crawl space was later found to have been damaged, police said.
