The Warriors employed a “survive and advance” mantra in a 46-32 win against Amundsen and will play St. Viator in a regional final.

5. Lakes 21-7 (5)

Cooper LoPriore’s instant offense — 13 points in one quarter against Vernon Hills — helps the Eagles earn a rubber match against Grayslake Central.

6. Lake Forest 21-10 (6)

The Scouts, who jumped ahead 31-4 in the first quarter of a 72-37 win against Senn, will play Notre Dame in a regional final.

7. Warren 18-14 (7)

Adam Panek scored 27 points in the Blue Devils’ 75-58 win against Mundelein. They handed Libertyville its lone conference loss.

8. Wauconda 15-12 (NR)

Winners of four of their past five games, the Bulldogs opened regional play Thursday against Wheaton St. Francis.

9. Carmel 12-20 (NR)

James Dwyer’s 19 points were instrumental in the Corsairs’ 43-39 upset of Fenton. They’ll play conference rival St. Patrick in a regional final.

10. Antioch 17-14 (8)

The Sequoits’ strong second half of the season — 12 wins in 16 games — ends with a 48-35 loss to Notre Dame.

Player of the Week

Senior center Brock Marino had 21 points and 13 rebounds in Lakes’ 56-52 win against Vernon Hills in a Class 3A regional semifinal on Wednesday.
