In baseball, Aurora University (39-4) will host John Carroll (Ohio) at noon Friday in the first round of pool play in the NCAA Division III Tournament. … AU’s Justin Zimmerman was chosen NACC’s pitcher of the year, while Adam Stevens was selected coach of the year. Justin Sartori, Jack Fisher and Jacob Ambuel joined Zimmerman on the all-conference team. … Trinity International’s Blake Lazaris was named to the all-conference team for the CCAC in baseball.
