First Team

Luke Dwyer, Brother Rice, senior, setter: Had 833 assists, 128 digs, 22 kills, 32 blocks, 20 aces for state qualifier. Third team all-state. All-conference. Committed to Aurora University.

Evan Dziadkowiec, Lockport, junior, setter: Finished with 737 assists, 170 digs, 74 kills, 30 blocks, 33 aces. First team all-state. All-conference.

Garrett Konopack, Lincoln-Way West, senior, setter: Topped 1,000-assist mark. Added 105 digs, 40 kills, 32 blocks. Second team all-state. All-conference.

Brendan McCarthy, Brother Rice, senior, middle hitter: Led Crusaders to state quarterfinals with 218 kills, 74 blocks. First team all-state. Won Catholic League Blue’s Lawless Award.

Luke Pekol, Joliet Catholic, senior, outside hitter: Paced Hilltoppers to 27 wins with 251 kills, 154 digs. Second team all-state. All-conference. Committed to Lewis.

Aidan Peloquin, St. Rita, junior, outside hitter: Developed into all-around star with 320 kills, 197 digs, 35 blocks, 24 aces. Honorable mention all-state. All-conference.

Brenden Reutter, Lincoln-Way East, senior, setter: Led with 835 assists, 30 blocks, 39 kills, 31 aces. Second team all-state. All-conference. Committed to Illinois Wesleyan.

Kevin Rodriguez, Lockport, junior, libero: Acrobat on court contributed 280 digs, 336 serve receives. Third team all-state. All-conference.

Brendan Schoeberl, Marist, senior, libero: Had 308 digs, 28 aces, 71 assists. Marist Tournament MVP. Honorable mention all-state. All-conference. Committed to Lindenwood.

Connor Studer, Lincoln-Way West, senior, outside hitter: Closed career with 468 kills, 227 digs, 36 blocks. First team all-state. All-conference. Led Warriors to first perfect record in conference.

Christian Teresi, Marist, sophomore, setter/right-side hitter: Added attacking to arsenal. Dominant force with 659 assists, 203 kills, 201 digs, 83 blocks, 60 aces. First team all-state. All-conference. On multiple national watch lists.

Tyler Walenga, Lincoln-Way East, senior, outside hitter: Had 252 kills, 118 digs, 21 blocks. Second team All-American. First team all-state. All-conference. Committed to Lewis.

Josh Bluhm, Lockport, junior, right-side hitter: Worked on all-around game, ending up with 283 kills, 35 blocks, 109 digs. Second team all-state. All-conference.

Marty Canavan, Marist, senior, right-side hitter: Had 236 kills and 41 blocks. Named Fab 50 senior in nation by Volleyballmag.com. Honorable mention all-state. All-conference. Committed to Ball State.

Joey Glennon, Lincoln-Way East, senior, middle hitter: Piled up 190 kills via .380 hitting percentage. First team all-state. All-conference. Committed to St. Xavier.

Connor Jaral, Lincoln-Way West, junior, outside hitter: Key cog for Warriors, finishing with 291 kills, 61 blocks, 61 digs. Honorable mention all-state. All-conference.

Nathan Kramer, Brother Rice, senior, outside hitter: Had 250 kills, 90 digs, 33 blocks for state quarterfinalist. Third team all-state. All-conference. Committed to Santa Monica.

Justin McGary, Marian Catholic, junior, setter: Led Spartans to best season in program history with 652 assists, 149 digs, 37 aces, 31 blocks. Honorable mention all-state. All-conference.

Dylan McKeon, St. Laurence, junior, outside hitter: Catholic League White’s player of the year had 308 kills, 125 digs. Third team all-state.

Lucas Olszewski, St. Rita, junior, middle/right-side hitter: Produced strong season with 309 kills, 124 digs, 45 blocks. All-conference.

Nathen Toth, Marist, sophomore, outside hitter: Burst onto varsity scene with 233 kills, 221 digs, 35 aces. Honorable mention all-state. All-conference.

Wade Welke, Lockport, junior, outside hitter: Powered Porters with 220 kills, 157 digs. All-conference.

Cael Whitchurch, Lemont, junior, setter/right-side: Two-way threat had 294 assists, 105 kills, 54 blocks. All-conference.

Matthew Wojciechowski, Stagg, junior, setter/right-side hitter: Came up big for Chargers with 232 assists, 126 kills, 121 digs. All-conference.
