Disorderly conduct
Two 16-year-old males from Des Plaines were cited for disorderly conduct after being found speeding and pointing a water gun at people July 22 at Golf Mill Mall, police said.
Amy Colomb, 56, of Jamie Lane in Willowbrook was cited July 20 for disorderly conduct and littering in a public place on the 8700 block of Dempster Street, police said.
Battery
Anthony Arroyo Jr., 42, of the 2100 block of Parkside Drive, Park Ridge, was arrested July 23 for battery, resisting and obstructing a police officer and criminal trespassing on the 8800 block of Milwaukee Avenue, police said.
Imran Mirza, 54, of the 7700 block of Nordica Street, Niles, was arrested July 24 for domestic battery at his residence, police said.
Fraud
A complainant residing on the 8500 block of Western Avenue stated July 20 that someone claiming to work for One Main Financial told the complainant he had requested a loan for about $7,000 and requested a police report with that information, police said. The subject had not requested a loan or done any business with One Main Financial and preliminary investigations have shown that identity thieves often use One Main Financial to try and obtain information, police said.
A complainant residing on the 6700 block of Milwaukee Avenue stated July 24 someone had called her and said she had won money from Publishers Clearing House and needed to send $30,000 for taxes, police said. The complainant complied and was told that she needed to send more money or risk being arrested by the FBI, and sent an additional $13,500, police said.
Traffic violations
Joaquin Maqueda-Sanchez, 26, of the 8000 block of Churchill Avenue, Niles, was arrested July 21 for driving without a valid driver’s license and speeding 54 mph in a 35 mph zone at the intersection of Monroe Street and Harlem Avenue, police said.
Andrew Edgar, 24, of the 2800 block of Natoma Avenue, Chicago, was arrested July 22 at the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue and Ozark Street for speeding 68 mph in a 35 mph zone, police said. A court date is set for Sept. 7.
Zeeshan Habib, 23, of the 8000 block of 174th Place, Tinley Park, was arrested July 23 on the 9400 block of Milwaukee Avenue for operating a vehicle with its registration suspended, police said. A court date is set for Aug. 9.
Brian Wakefield, 40, of the 25100 block of Presidential Avenue, Plainfield, was arrested July 24 on the 7900 block of Dempster Street for speeding 61 mph in a 35 mph zone, police said. A court date is set for Aug. 9.
Lowell Hubbard, 37, of the 1300 block of Washington Street, Evanston, was arrested July 24 on the 6600 block of Howard Street for speeding 58 mph in a 30 mph zone, police said. A court date is set for Sept. 2.
Drug possession
Nicholas Gallo, 20, of the 2500 block of Scott Street, Franklin Park, was arrested for possession of between 30 and 100 grams of cannabis July 22 on the 8600 block of Golf Road, police said. A court date is set for Aug. 11.
Driving under the influence
Gregory Broyles, 49, of Hamlin Avenue, Park Ridge, was arrested July 22 at the intersection of Oconto and Touhy Avenues for driving under the influence of alcohol, police said. A court date is set for Sept. 5.
Leonardo Bollas Bahena, 44, of the 2800 block of Drake Avenue, Chicago, was arrested July 23 at the intersection of Devon and Milwaukee Avenues for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a valid driver’s license, police said. A court date is set for Sept. 5.
Jember Herrera Ovando, 48, of the 4900 block of Crain Street, Skokie, was arrested July 23 for driving under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Oakton Street and Lehigh Avenue, police said. A court date is set for Sept. 5.
Kevin Patron Ladino, 20, of the 4000 block of Bonhill Drive, Arlington Heights, was arrested July 24 on the 8300 block of Golf Road for driving under the influence of alcohol and operating a vehicle with its registration cancelled, police said.
