Josh Gugora, Benet, senior, outfielder: Batted .361 with 11 doubles, 34 RBIs and 32 runs scored for Class 3A state runner-up. Also had .982 fielding percentage. Committed to Illinois Wesleyan.
Troy Kashul, Naperville Central, senior, first baseman: Batted .388 with seven doubles, one home run, 23 RBIs, 23 runs scored and 10 walks. All-conference. Committed to North Central for football.
Nick Lambert, Waubonsie Valley, senior, pitcher: Went 7-1, including wins in 4A regional and sectional championship games, with 2.29 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, 10 walks and 52 strikeouts in 64 1/3 innings. All-conference.
Jake Rifenburg, Benet, senior, pitcher: Went 5-3 with one save, 1.48 ERA, 23 walks and 83 strikeouts in 61 1/3 innings for 3A state runner-up. All-conference. Committed to Northwestern.
Owen Roberts, Waubonsie Valley, senior, pitcher/shortstop: Went 8-2 with 0.49 ERA, 0.65 WHIP, 16 walks and 96 strikeouts in 72 innings for 4A sectional champion. Also batted .367 with two home runs, 19 RBIs and 32 runs scored. Conference co-pitcher of the year and 4A all-state. Committed to Indiana State.
Matt Sonnenschein, Naperville North, senior, shortstop/pitcher: Batted .340 with seven doubles, three triples, 18 RBIs and 18 walks. Also went 5-1 with one save, 1.91 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 43 strikeouts in 44 innings. All-conference. Committed to Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Merrick Sullivan, Benet, senior, second baseman/third baseman: Batted .346 with 16 doubles, two home runs, 33 RBIs and 35 runs scored for 3A state runner-up. Also had .944 fielding percentage. All-conference. Committed to Ithaca.
Hiroshy Wong, Waubonsie Valley, senior, outfielder/third baseman: Batted .367 with nine doubles, one triple, one home run and 23 RBIs for 4A sectional champion. All-conference.
Gino Zagorac, Benet, senior, pitcher: Went 5-3 with one save, 3.00 ERA, 18 walks and 67 strikeouts in 51 1/3 innings for 3A state runner-up. All-conference. Committed to Wichita State.
