Chicago police have opened a death investigation after a man was pulled from Lake Michigan overnight in the Lakeview neighborhood.
Shortly before 1:15 a.m., the marine unit and police responded to a call of an unresponsive male in the water in the 3900 block of North Recreation Drive.
The man was pulled from the water and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
A death investigation was opened pending autopsy results Wednesday.
