A 22-year-old Clarendon Hills man has been arrested by the Illinois State Police’s Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 1 special agents and accused of possessing and distributing child porn..

Marcos Reyes was arrested Thursday April 23 and charged with unlawful possession of child sexual abuse material depicting victims Under 13, a Class 2 felony, and dissemination of child sexual abuse material depicting victims under 13, a class X felony, according to information from the state police.

Police said special agents received an online tip in November 2025 and began an extensive investigation in DuPage County into the possession of child sexual abuse materials. Special agents identified Reyes as the suspect, who at the time resided on Tudor Lane in Westmont.

Officers executed a supplemental search warrant Jan. 29  at Reyes’ workplace in Hinsdale and collected an electronic device that was in his possession. On April 17, special agents and analysts with the Attorney General’s Office, presented the case to the DuPage County state’s attorney’s office, which approved the  charges.

Reyes was arrested at his current residence on 58th Street in Clarendon Hills. He was being held at the DuPage County Jail,  pending his first court appearance.
