Providence closes in on Lincoln-Way Central at the top, while Lockport rejoins the rankings.

1. Lincoln-Way Central 15-2-1 (1): Freshman midfielder Lyla Gallagher scores as the Knights clinch the SouthWest Suburban Conference title with 1-0 win over Lincoln-Way West.

2. Providence 14-3-3 (3): Alyssa Thulin and the host Celtics are the top seed in the Class 2A Providence Sectional as they go for their third straight sectional title.

3. Marist 15-4-2 (2): Senior defender Addison Woodward gets in on the offense, scoring a key goal in the RedHawks’ 2-1 win over St. Laurence.

4. Lemont 18-1-1 (4): Illinois-Chicago recruit Gabriela Kuruc leads her team into the playoffs on a 19-game unbeaten streak after wrapping up undefeated run to South Suburban Blue title.

5. Lincoln-Way East 12-4-1 (5): The Griffins come through in the clutch with 2-1 shootout win over Sandburg. Now, Ava Feigl looks to lead them to postseason success.

6. Lincoln-Way West 14-4-1 (6): Forward Lucy Sheriff continues her fantastic freshman season, providing a goal and three assists in the Warriors’ 4-0 win over Homewood-Flossmoor.

7. Andrew 9-8-1 (8): Illinois-Chicago recruit Emily Crotty scores 18th goal of the season as the Thunderbolts drop tough 2-1 decision to Waubonsie Valley.

8. Mother McAuley 11-7-2 (9): Sophomore midfielder Abby Covarrubias continues to emerge as a scoring threat, producing two goals in the Mighty Macs’ 6-1 win over De La Salle.

9. Lockport 12-6-1 (NR): Senior goalkeeper Olivia Luecke comes through big in 1-0 shootout win over Sandburg, giving the Porters some late-season momentum.

10. Sandburg 7-7-3 (7): Three-sport star Ellie Driscoll produces game-tying goal late in regulation before the Eagles lose 2-1 to Lincoln-Way East in a shootout.
