A 13-year-old boy faces a half dozen felony charges after a shooting that resulted in the injuries of four other boys in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood Saturday night, Chicago police said.

Police said the boy was arrested just before 10 p.m. Saturday in the 4600 block of South Calumet Avenue after allegedly shooting an 11-year-old boy, two 13-year-old boys and a 14-year-old boy in the 4500 block of South Prairie Avenue about 20 minutes earlier.

Police originally listed the youngest victim as 12 years old, but later corrected his age.

At the time, three of the four victims were in good condition after sustaining shots to their legs and feet. The oldest victim was in fair condition with a gunshot wound to the back. All four were transported to Comer Children’s Hospital for treatment.

The boy was charged with four felony counts of aggravated battery, one felony count of unlawful possession of a firearm and one felony count of having a firearm without a FOID card. He was expected in court for a juvenile detention hearing Monday.
