Constellation Energy Corp., the biggest US supplier of nuclear energy, agreed to provide electricity from an Illinois site to Walmart Inc. through a long-term deal that will fund upgrades at the power plant.

Constellation will supply 176 megawatts of power from its Dresden nuclear site to the retail giant, including 30 megawatts of new capacity that will come from improvements at the plant, the companies said in a joint statement on Tuesday.
