A second person has died as a result of a June 14 motorcycle-vehicle hauler crash on Indian Boundary Road in Chesterton.

Chesterton Police Chief Tim Richardson confirmed that Molly AnnMarie Tucker, 25, of Chesterton, who was a motorcycle passenger, died on June 19.

Tucker was riding on the back of a motorcycle driven by Dillon Kelly, 33, of Michigan, who was pronounced dead at the scene at the intersection of Indian Boundary Road and Plaza Drive. She was immediately airlifted to a Chicago-area trauma center after the crash.

Richardson said that the investigation is continuing. The Indiana State Police’s accident reconstruction team was going to revisit the crash site Thursday.

The motorcycle was traveling west on Indian Boundary Road when it collided with a vehicle hauler exiting south off Plaza Drive by the Taco Bell at 6:18 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, police said.

The funeral service for Tucker is set for 1 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at the Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at the funeral home.
