An 18-year-old Spring Grove man has died in a Lake County hospital from injuries he sustained in a Sunday auto accident, the Lake County Coroner’s Office said Tuesday.
John Ethan Regan-Langrick died at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville from complications of blunt force trauma, the coroner’s office said.
Regan-Langrick was brought by helicopter to the hospital following the crash that happened at about 7:35 p.m. Sunday in Richmond.
The coroner’s office said he was driving a Toyota sedan that collided with a Nissan SUV at the intersection of Illinois Routes 173 and 12. Other details of the crash were not immediately available on Tuesday.
The crash remains under investigation by McHenry County authorities.
