FIRST TEAM

Luca Avendano, St. Charles East, senior, midfielder: Had eight goals and five assists for Class 3A sectional finalist. All-conference and all-state.

Colin Bastianoni, Metea Valley, senior, forward: Had 19 goals and four assists. All-conference and all-sectional. Committed to Missouri State.

Sebastian Carranza, St. Charles East, senior, forward: Produced 35 goals and 14 assists. Only Illinois player selected to 2021 All-American Game. All-conference and all-sectional.

Cael Cummings, Oswego East, senior, defender: Lockdown stopper for defense that posted eight shutouts. Scored two goals. All-conference and all-sectional. Committed to Purdue Northwest.

Christian Diaz, Geneva, senior, forward: Three-year starter had nine goals and seven assists for 3A sectional qualifier. All-conference and all-state.

Carlos Garcia, West Aurora, senior, goalkeeper: Athletic netminder tallied six shutouts, shared another and made 76 saves with 0.84 goals-against average. All-conference and all-state.

Lance Grandgeorge, Somonauk co-op, sophomore, midfielder: Became a force with 36 goals and 21 assists for 1A sectional qualifier that finished 20-3. All-conference.

Roman Hernandez, East Aurora, senior, midfielder: Led Tomcats to conference title with 21 goals and 10 assists. Scored hat trick in regional semifinal. All-conference and all-state.

Jorge Leon, Genoa-Kingston, junior, forward: Erupted with 44 goals and 18 assists for 1A sectional finalist. All-conference, all-sectional and repeat all-area.

Nick Lopez, Elgin, defender, senior: Elite presence for defense that picked up six shutouts. Also scored two goals for 3A sectional finalist. All-conference.

Eagan Reams, Genoa-Kingston, senior, midfielder/forward: One of state’s top point producers with 49 goals and 24 assists for team that finished 21-2. All-conference and all-sectional.

SECOND TEAM

Ben Burns, Oswego East, senior, forward: Had 20 goals and 11 assists. All-conference and honorable mention all-sectional.

Michael DePasquale, St. Charles North, senior, defender: Four-year starter the anchor of defense with five shutouts. Added three assists. All-conference and all-sectional.

Ryan Doherty, South Elgin, senior, forward: Led Storm with 11 goals and five assists. All-conference and all-sectional.

Ryan Kahley, Batavia, senior, midfielder: Three-year starter and two-time program MVP. Had 10 goals and five assists. All-conference and all-sectional.

Connor King, St. Charles East, senior, defender: Two-way standout powered defense to eight shutouts. Had eight goals and six assists. All-conference and all-sectional.

Erick Mena, Metea Valley, junior, forward: Dynamic offensive threat emerged as a top underclassman with six goals and eight assists. All-conference.

Mason Rinkel, IMSA, senior, forward: Showcased offensive versatility with 21 goals and 11 assists. All-conference.

Nathan Siers, Westminster Christian, junior, midfielder: Had 27 goals and 11 assists. Northeastern Athletic Conference’s player of the year.

Nate Sowers, Marmion, defender, senior: Three-year starter for 2A sectional finalist that had five shutouts. Added five goals and three assists. All-conference and all-sectional.

Hayden Vostal, Geneva, sophomore, goalkeeper: One of top-rated goalies in class. Had seven shutouts and shared another for 3A sectional qualifier. All-conference, all-state and all-Midwest.

Ruben Zarate, Jacobs, senior, forward: Used quickness to score team-high 12 goals. Added three assists. All-conference and all-sectional.
