Sundance Homes Inc. has opened its sales and information center for Pine Ridge North, a new development of 105 single-family homes in west suburban Carol Stream. Six floor plans are priced from $104,900 to $119,900.
”We have been building in the Carol Stream area for almost a decade, so it doesn`t surprise us that the area has quickly established itself as a popular community for young couples and families buying their first and second homes. Many of our visitors are current Sundance home owners who are upgrading to a larger Sundance home in the same town,” said Michael Schall, vice president of sales and marketing.
Schall said that the advantages of new construction are also drawing buyers to Pine Ridge North.
”For a decision as important and personal as buying a home, our home owners prefer new construction to resale. They choose the floor plan they want, the location they want, all of the finishes and upgrades they want, plus they have a 10-year warranty on the home,” he said.
The Elm, priced from $104,900, is a three-bedroom, two-bath ranch home with a two-car garage. The living and dining room both have options for woodburning fireplaces. The kitchen has an optional garden window. A third bedroom can be finished as a den, complete with a wet bar. An optional cathedral ceiling and private full bath highlight the master bedroom.
Priced from $108,900, the Spruce is a two-story home with three bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. The kitchen, which opens to the family room, has an optional bay window. The family room has sliding glass doors to the back yard and an option for a woodburning fireplace. A laundry room, half bath and attached two-car garage complete the lower level.
The Salem, a three- to four-bedroom home with 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths, is priced from $110,900.
The Cypress, priced from $116,900, is a four-bedroom home with 2 1/2 baths. There is an optional bay window for the formal living and dining room. The adjoining kitchen is open to the family room and has a convenient breakfast bar.
The Newbury, a three- or four-bedroom home with 2 1/2 baths, is priced from $113,900. A box window is the focal point of the formal living and dining room and the kitchen has a breakfast nook, pantry, laundry center and an option for a greenhouse window. The family room has an optional fireplace.
Priced from $119,900, the Hickory is a two-story plan with four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. A center entry separates living and dining rooms for added formality. An open plan joins the kitchen, breakfast area and family room together as a multi-functional area.
Pine Ridge North is on Kuhn Road, two miles south on Army Trail Road.
