As a black ex-Marine who served during the Korean era, I am devastated after hearing about the recent incidents involving the Marine Corps in Moscow. Although this has definitely dealt a negative blow to the corps, I certainly do not believe that this is indicative of the Marines. I am proud to have served in the corps; I`m proud to be an American.
