Irene M. Scanlan, 90, a retired Chicago schoolteacher, died Monday in her home in Oak Lawn. Miss Scanlan retired in 1967 after teaching for 40 years, most of the time at Raster Elementary School, 69th Street and Hermitage Avenue. She had been a longtime Southwest Side resident. Miss Scanlan is survived by a sister, Ann Scanlan. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Germaine Catholic Church, 98th Street and Kolin Avenue, Oak Lawn.
