Sales of existing single-family homes rose 0.9 percent in July, at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 3.53 million, according to the National Association of Realtors. In the Midwest, sales were unchanged at an annual rate of 900,000. The median sales price in July was $85,800, up from $85,200 in June and $79,900 in July, 1986.
